These vary in content depending on the class individuals in attendance and previous sessions, but will look to focus on improving boxing skills including stance, footwork, body defences (head movement) and blocking attacks along with punching technique and coordination along with various fitness training and advise to compliment the skills that are learnt.
We have 20 punching bags of varying functionality, pads and strike shields for partner work and 2 boxing rings, one is a competitive 18″ platform ring and the other a 14ft practice ring that is regularly checked and refurbished. We also have a 15m matted training area with mirrors to the front, two treadmills, a startrack exercise bike and lifefitness stepping machine. Free weights and kettlebells are also available and we are in the process of developing one of the reception rooms into strength and conditioning area.
